The Blessed Hope

Present Suffering and Future Glory

18For I consider [from the standpoint of faith] that the sufferings of the present life are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us!

There are days when the weight of this world feels unbearable—when trials seem endless and hope feels distant. But even in our hardest moments, we are called to remember the Blessed Hope, the promise that what we endure now is nothing compared to the glory that will be revealed in us.

This verse isn't just words—it’s a lifeline. It reminds us that God sees, God knows, and God is working in ways we can't always understand. Our suffering isn't meaningless; it's shaping us, refining us, and preparing us for something greater than we can imagine.

When I feel stuck, overwhelmed, or on the verge of giving up, I return to this truth. The enemy wants us to believe that suffering is the end of our story, but God says it’s only a chapter. The pain we experience today is temporary, but His promise is eternal.

So, if you're feeling trapped by the weight of your circumstances, I encourage you to shift your focus, not on the trials but on the hope that is promised. God is faithful, and every struggle we walk through leads us toward the glory that is to come.

Hold on. Endure. Trust. Because the best is yet to come.
